I can’t believe he’s five! We started the celebration with his favorite breakfast, cinnamon rolls!!!! And of course Nick added oranges for as a healthy side dish. Jay lit the candles.
Luke at one week and Luke now…same great smile, same sweet charm. Even at one week, he knew how to work it.
Luke, held the first time by his big brother…only a few hours old.
Luke, two days before his 5th birthday proud as can be that he is riding a two-wheeler…no training wheels!!!
His request, Ninjago Birthday Party!!! My response….Bodies in Motion and Legos! Bodies in Motion is where Luke takes taekwondo and they, among many other things, offer to throw birthday parties…NINJA birthday parties!!! My solution to the cake was to just top it with a Lego Red Dragon. I had it face the candle as if it was lighting it…pretty clever if I do so self my say!
Make a wish Sweet Boy!
The party was awesome! After blowing out the candles the host led Luke and his guests into the main area where a REAL, no kidding, ninjas dropped from the ceiling and presented Luke with a REAL, no kidding, ninja sword to cut his cake. I love Luke’s face in this photo…complete and total AWE!
The best birthday a 5-year-old could have…ninjas, swords, and friends.
Happy Birthday Luke.
